/Inspirational Art/
Christmas has a very artistic touch to it. People buy, make and break ornaments. They come in a million different shapes, sizes and colors. Besides just ornaments christmas trees have become more than just a green tree with every color ornament you own. People (Artistic people?) have started going out and instead of the green tree, purchase a colored tree, such as white, purple, blue. Then purchase color ornaments to correspond with their colored tree. Personally I still like the old fashioned green tree with colored ornaments and colorful lights but people are changing as are the times. A few photos to prove my discovery!! :O

Nail Art
/Inspirational Art/
A lot of people have positive and negative opinions about nail art; in Japan especially, people have a lot of fun with it (Some Americans may say they got too carried away) but everyone likes different things, and this IS different. I like how they're are always cute and Bold. They do things their own way, below I'm going to show you a few pictures of their nail art. You may think tacky, or inspirational. Your opinion. :)
Jewelry Making
/Inspirational Art/
Jewelry is a beautiful thing, some made plain some extravagant. Jewelry is something that helps grab people's attention. Jewelry is amazing how its so carefully crafted. I don't personally wear jewelry that much but I still find it enchanting. Below are just a few pictures of some jewelry I find special and unique in its own way. Maybe you will too. :)

Video Games = Art
Video games are art. It takes a lot of creativity to put them together. I admire how much teamwork and how much planning goes into this. I also find it amazing as to how realistic games are becoming. Graphics are becoming closer and closer to the real thing. I always seem to find inspiration from watching people play video games or playing them myself. My favorite parts have always and will always be just the scenes within video games; it's like a movie. : )

Murals
Modern Art
http://wallmuralgallery.com/
This website leads to a full gallery of murals from todays artists.
Coming across this website was by chance and I feel very inspired when I look at it. I noticed several photos from this site are digitally animated, and yet some are real. Its also neat to see how these ideas plan out. Maybe it'll inspire you as well. Below are just a few picture from the website; maybe to help you venture forward onto the link to see me. :)

The majority of the ones I chose to show you are for children, but for some reason those seemed most creative, the adult ones are more modern and simple.
Hope you enjoy. <3

The Great Wave of Kanagawa
/My response to an artwork./
This is The Great Wave Of Kanagawa by: Hokusai
This artwork show in the whites of the waves that it is fierce and rough, and the way the artist put the boats on the water. So you can just compare the size of the waves to those little boats, it emphasizes how dangerous waters are. How the land is in the back mocking the men on the boat and how the colors of the sky set the wary mood. The water is smooth up to the end of the whites, showing how as soon as it touches you, you will not be safe. The waves could swallow all the boat so easily. The artwork looked at from afar, in my opinion looks like the page was evenly divided between the waters space in the art and the sky's, so to me I feel as if it is telling us we will always be stuck between two things bigger and greater than us. We small humans, stuck in the midst of things that could easily over power us. The water, and the sky, both can look peacefully and yet easily turn to something deadly, and in such moments, there usually isn't much we can do.
